Water the garden, pick fruit in the orchard
Tomatoes, strawberries, corn and fruit trees: a splash from the watering can helps your plants grow, and your trees fruit again after every harvest.

One splash from a full watering can, and every plant around the one you aim at grows by a stage. Your crops have four stages, from seedling to harvest. Without the watering can they grow too, at their own pace and with a bit of luck involved: two seeds planted on the same day will not always ripen together.
Sow your vegetable patch
On the menu: tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, strawberries and corn. Short on seeds? Bazar the snail sometimes sells them at his stall.
Mark out a small patch beside the path. One row may stay tiny while the next is already turning red, and that is fine! Each plant grows in its own time.
Bring out the watering can
Fill the watering can with water, then aim at a plant: it waters a three-by-three square around it. The water stays on the same level of ground, so for terraced crops, water each level.
A ripe plant stops growing. You can water a row of mixed stages without wasting anything: only the plants with room left to grow move on.

Between visits, your crops keep growing on their own. Trees take longer than vegetables. And if you play with friends, everyone sees the same garden grow.
Plant an orchard
Apple, orange, cherry and pear trees all fit in beside the vegetable patch. Leave room above a young tree: a block in the way can stop it growing taller.
Pick the fruit and the tree stays put. It goes back to the stage just before fruiting and starts producing again. Your orchard is planted once and for all, with paths between the trees and the vegetables in the next plot over.
Set up the barn
The farm has its own furniture too: round hay bales, haystacks, a pitchfork and a big sliding barn door. When you open it, the panel slides to one side. Leave it room along the wall without blocking the way to the garden.
